MAGIC BLADE is a bespoke composition and musical world‑building studio led by British composer and producer Daniel Suett, serving filmmakers, artists, writers, and storytellers across disciplines. Drawing on roots in pop and electronica, Daniel discovered a deep affinity for narrative, image-driven music while composing for nature programming on National Geographic and Discovery, after being invited by Hans Zimmer to join the newly formed Bleeding Fingers composer collective in Santa Monica (Planet Earth II, The Simpsons, Prehistoric Planet).

Guided by imaginative immersion and a particular love of science fiction, fantasy, drama, and dance, Daniel’s practice now spans film scoring, sound + instrument design, experiential installations, and live performance. He lives and works in the mountains of Southern California with his wife, and outside the studio can often be found reading, running, and enjoying a good whiskey—occasionally at the same time.
